So life hasn't been exciting enough to blog about, which is generally good- I think. We started the master bat
h remodel. This is the tile we picked for the tub surround we'll also use the glass tile behind the sinks as well. We already took out the mirrors on either side of the tub, started stripping the 3 layers of wallpaper and installed the tile around the tub. I am forever thankful Rob is a handy guy, he has saved us thousands, I'm sure. We are also removing the huge Vanity mirror, replacing it with two individual mirrors, installing new lighting fixtures and of course painting- if we can ever decide on a color.
Rob and I have both been eating healthier and doing really well, until last night when we had to make cake balls for his office party. For those of you not from around here, they are the latest rage in the Dallas Area. Kristina gets all the credit for my new baking obsession. (and for those of you, who really know me well- nothing is wrong- just enjoying baking) Basically, make a cake, chop it up, while it's still hot mix in a tub of your desired frosting, then form balls and dip in chocolate coating. They are heavenly and I'm not a cake person. I didn't take pictures of our re
cent batch because just looking at them gives you a sugar high.
Charlotte is still in puppy wonderland but is beginning to appreciate Biscuit for her calmness and obedience. Daisy is growing quick! She was 15 pounds at her last vet appointment (at 11 1/2 weeks) She is a sweet puppy- but a puppy in every bit of the way. At least she's potty trained, I have to tell my self that a few times a day.
It was great to see Brad last weekend. He happen to be here during the auction for the closing of Texas Stadium. Rob and Brad now own sections of turf and bought other random stuff that was on sale at the stadium pro shop. Those boys and their football...

The last bit of exciting news is Rob's cousin Jason asked him to be Best Man in his wedding and asked if Charlotte would be the flower girl. We are very excited for Jason and Elizabeth. Charlotte will get to add Connecticut and New York to her "Place I've Been Map".

YAY cake balls!!!
I want the recipe for the cake balls. Good luck with the remodeling. You know me and Nick... we would have to pay to get it done. We are thinking about making a trip in June or July to Great Wolf Lodge. I will let you know what dates we decide on. 13 more days and Vivian will be here.
