51 weeks! (part one)

So for some reason last week I couldn't post this....

So it's really been nearly a year since my last post! Several friends lately have asked if I'm ever going to blog again, especially since we have so much going on- and that would be why I never get a chance to blog. I had taken on another position at Christian Works as the program coordinator for the grief support groups and that will soon be ending so hopefully that will help free up some time.

I'm going to try and make this a very quick catch up on everything that has happened over the past year. April and May were very busy with a trip to California and several weekend fishing adventures. Charlotte's preschool activities are always keeping us busy as well.
We also had visits from my dad, sister and mom at all different times. The Summer Rodeo is also one of our favorites. In June we went to Memphis, to visit Emily, Myron and Zack. We had a blast the kids really enjoyed cooling of in a mock Mississppi river. Later that weekend we went to Paula Deans Buffet in Tunica, Mississipppi. WOW- amazing southren homecooked buttery food! YUM!

Over July 4th we got together with lots of family out at the Lake. Rob and his cousin Austin set off a huge fireworks display, this year we think they'll put it to music and charge admission. August was really busy we were in Conneticut for Jason and Elizabeth's wedding, San Antonio for Cowboy Training Camp and Sea World, then back to California over labor day week. Oh and we also bought our very first bedroom furniture. Our room is finally the retreat I've always wanted.

In September, Charlotte started Pre-K. She loves learning and her teachers. She has Art, Music, P.E.,Bible and Spanish every week. She sounds out lots of words but has informed us she is NOT reading!

In October we sold the Trooper and bought Rob a truck. HE LOVES HIS TRUCK! We are talking almost as much as his Trans AM kind of love. Charlotte also turned 5! She had a party with her best friend from school, Lucy at ASI Gymnastics! She was Pochantas for Halloween.

In November right before Thanksgiving we found out we were pregnant again! We decided not to share our news right away since we were very cautiously optimistic. We visited Family for Thanksgiving and didn't say a word.
By late Decemeber lots of friends and family new and we were still pretty anxious! Now we are just realizing we only have 16 weeks to get alot ready!!!
