Charlotte got a very special award last week! It's called the Principal's Proclamation. We received a sealed letter from her teacher a few weeks ago telling us she was getting an award but we really didn't know how much pride we would feel. Char is a good kid over all and I always hope she acts "better" when I'm not around, especially lately. She can really struggle when she's tired, hungry, doesn't get her way, or just because she's 6. "The award is given to a student that demonstrates Life- Long Learner Traits, identified as Self Directed Learner, Effective Communicator, Complex Thinker, Quality Producer, Responsible Citizen and a Collaborative Contributor" She was so cute and surprised when they called her name and she said being on stage in front of the whole school was her favorite part.
