Happy Birthday Number 3! Garrett Lee was born on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 12:23 pm. He was our smallest little one at 7 pounds 3 oz and 19 inches long. He also came the fastest! Rob stepped out for 5 minutes to give family an update and was shocked when I called his cell phone and all I could say is "right now- he's coming right now". However he had no idea what I was saying- just that I sounded panicked. He and my doctor made it just in time and with in minutes and a few pushes our sweet baby boy was here. I was in shock because the last time the nurse checked me I was only at a 5 so I figured I had a long way to go, who would have thought less than an hour later he would be here! He is a great little eater and right now only really cries during diaper changes. Charlotte is an old pro at being a big sister. This time around she seems to enjoy it more and is a huge helper. RJ is responding better than expected, he's very curious and lights up whenever he's close to Garrett. We are still working on being gentle and not squeezing Garrett's face, toes or other body parts but his love for his baby brother is obvious.
