so I embraced the new due date of July 19th- called parents, changed work schedule, planned for Charlotte and then it was switched to Friday the 16th, again changed work schedule, called parents, planned care for Char and now told everyone. Well today at the doctor we found out it has been bumped up one more time to Thursday the 15th! It seems this little guy is moving right along, I am almost to a 3 dilated and 60% effaced, which is further than another mommy being induced to they switched our dates to give her more time. I'm still letting all this soak in, 6 days, yes 6 days! AHHHHH! Trust me at this point in the game it matters!
In other news Charlotte would like to announce she can now tie her own shoes!!! Nana and Papa took her shoe shopping earlier this week and somehow Charlotte talked them into aqua and hot pink, sparkley high top Sketchers- and by the next morning had learned to tie them on her own!
I can say all this happend because I had told Charlotte to go get her shoes on, for camp one morning and she came out in her cowboy boots (with her shorts). Well there was no time to argue about how hot she would be and seriously I'm trying my best to let her pick her own "style" (as she says). So I sent a quick email to Nana saying when you pick Charlotte up from camp, you may want to swing by the house for a pair of flip flops... to which she said I'll just take her shoe shopping! Great by me! Nana got to spoil her, Char got to pick her own "style" and I got a kid that can tie!!! Wahooo!

So glad Charlotte can tie her shoes. Will come in handy with a new baby who is so dependent. Will be thinking of you on the 15th. Can't wait to meet the little guy.
