6 month Check Up

Our little one is growing and growing!  We had his pediatrician visit today and he's doing great developmentally.  He uses both his hands equally and can pass an object back and forth.  He is determined to get the toy he wants and often squirms to get down on the floor to play.  He sits without support and loves to stand. No crawling yet, just rolling, diving and reaching. Charlotte never crawled so it will be interesting to see if he does or not.  He likes to play with his sippy cup and can actually get a drink of water every once in a while. He's very interested in what we eat and often imitates chewing even if he's not eating.  He loves his veggies and fruits.  When the house is quiet, he rambles on and on with all sorts of sounds. Today he weighed 16 pounds 8 oz (38%), and stretched out to 27 inches long (2 inches in 2 months, 75%). He's a very mellow baby for the most part, now if we could just get back to that sleeping 5 and 6 hours at a time routine....hmmmm?
