My Kindergartener!

Monday was Char's first day of "real school". All 4 off us went together to take her. Although I see her as such a big girl she seemed so tiny mixed in with all the bigger elementary kids. She was so excited and is doing great. She is ready to start learning because all they've done so far is learn rules and write their names (she's done this for over 2 years). She has her "own style" now, which means nothing more than if I like it or get to excited over it she doesn't like
it. She loves accessorizing her outfits and likes to be different than her peers. I'm trying to go with that and choose my battles because I'm sure there will be many.

As far as her parents coping with her first day, we were more in shock than sad. We felt some success at just getting her to this point. Rob took the day off so we enjoyed a very quiet breakfast out and the day together, then decided to make it a new tradition. The second day when I said goodbye to her at home and Rob dropped her off was much harder!
