What would you do if ???

So RJ has been doing really well, we know he loves bathtime and being on his tummy but hates being held sideways and having a wet diaper. He's really started to "play" more and have more awake time. This weekend we ventured to the mall so Charlotte could shop with Auntie Ro and get "her own fashion". Robyn really has become the "cool Aunt". Anyways RJ got really fussy and it wasn't time to eat so I figured he must have a wet diaper. We were headed to the car so I just soothed him the best I could. When we got there, I'm hurrying to get everything out my bag, I lay him down, undo his diaper (which is REALLY WET), reach for another and there's not one there! Dive into the bag, pull everything out, NO DIAPERS! This is strange because I just gave Rob like 6 of them, to put in the diaper bag before Charlotte's soccer practice- (that's a whole other post). I look all over the car, SERIOUSLY, what the heck, where could they be???? Okay, well RJ was calm just having his pants off so what can I do??? HMMM? I had an extra outfit, wipes, a blanket and all sorts of other things, then realized that the burp cloth is really a cloth diaper. So having know clue as to how to fold it or use it for anything more that burping and wiping spit up I fashioned a diaper the best I could, snapped his onesie, lined his car seat with a disposable changing pad, and told him not to pee or anything else til we got home. I was really quite hilarious! Oh and Rob's response- "I put them in the diaper bag, I swear!"
The moral of this story: ALWAYS ALWAYS keep a burp cloth in your diaper bag and stash some extra diapers in your car.

Wow! I wonder what really happened to the diapers?? ;)

I'm gonna go put some in my car now! I don't think I would be as crafty. Good job momma!
